3. Return & Cancellation Policy
- Returns: Items may be returned if unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. All eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Custom Orders: All custom Cerakote work is final sale and non-refundable.
- Cancellations: Orders canceled after processing begins will incur a 15% restocking fee.
- Return Process: Contact us at [email protected] for return approval. Customers are responsible for return shipping.
4. FFL Shipping Policy
Legal Compliance
- We only ship firearms to licensed FFL dealers. Firearms will not be shipped to individuals directly.
- The buyer is responsible for knowing and complying with all federal, state, and local laws before placing an order.
- Firearm parts that are not serialized may ship directly unless restricted by your jurisdiction.
- We do not ship firearms or restricted items to states/jurisdictions where prohibited by law.
Shipping Requirements
- Handguns: Must be shipped via UPS or FedEx 2-Day or faster.
- Long guns: May be shipped via ground.
- USPS: Only permitted FFL-to-FFL where allowed.
Incoming Firearms for Service
- Include a copy of your government-issued ID (if shipping personally) or your FFL.
- Firearms must be unloaded and securely packaged.
Outgoing Firearms
- Firearms will be returned only to the customer’s designated FFL.
- We must have a valid copy of the receiving FFL license before shipping.
Liability
- East Coast Cerakote LLC is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments once in the carrier’s possession.
- All shipments can be insured upon request at the buyer’s expense.
5. Custom Work Disclaimer
- All Cerakote services are performed by hand and may have slight variations in shade or texture.
- By submitting a firearm or part for coating, you acknowledge the permanent nature of the process and accept the final result.
- While every effort is made to deliver a flawless finish, some minor imperfections may occur due to the nature of coating and the condition of the original part.
6. Lead Times
Typical turnaround for custom work is estimated at 1-3WEEKs, though this may vary depending on order volume and project complexity. You will be notified of delays when possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
East Coast Cerakote LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or products. Use of all products and services is at your own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, photos, and designs are the property of East Coast Cerakote LLC. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
9. User Conduct
